Job Description​

Evaluates or screens clients after impairment injury or disease. Plans designs and implements individualized physical therapy treatment programs. Interventions may include therapeutic exercise manual therapy functional retraining use of thermal and electric modalities gait training and use of various other training and retraining skills. re evaluates clients to determine effectiveness of interventions and contributes to discharge planning. Supervises treatment provided by students technicians or physical therapist assistants and recommends client care interventions to other members of the health care team. Delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided. Serves as a clinical resource and coordinates the student program.
