Opportunity: 

Saint Luke’s Physician Group is seeking a Physician Recruiter with at least three years of experience as a physician recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for full cycle recruitment of top physicians for our health system. The full-cycle recruitment includes building relationships, reviewing applications, conducting behavioral based interviews, as well as completing the hiring process.  Your direct experience with recruiting and hiring physicians and building pipelines of candidates will allow you to successfully partner with hiring managers to identify the top candidates, while utilizing strategies to source qualified, diverse individuals to meet physician requirements for the positions from external and referral sources.  You will have the opportunity to design, develop, implement, and manage recruitment strategies to establish a strong network of contacts in the community and industry.

The Work: 

  • Consults with hiring managers about recruitment needs
  • Develops recruitment strategies; establishing networks of contacts in the community and industry
  • Participates in ongoing projects to further develop an integrated recruitment process 
  • Prepares reports relating to recruitment activity and productivity
  • Identifies and participates in policy and program development
  • Participates in the design, development, implementation, and management of recruitment initiatives and staffing strategies.  
  • With the Director of Physician Recruitment's guidance, uses recruitment metrics, best practice literature, and market data to measure strategies' effectiveness.
  • Actively participate in physician recruitment career fairs
  • Manages the full cycle hiring process from on-line applications to offers.  This includes reviewing applications, conducting phone interviews and behavioral based interviews
  • Present a strong knowledge of policies and laws governing hiring practices

We are seeking someone who possesses the ability to build relationships internally with coworkers, hiring managers, and leadership and externally with the community and industry. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.  Organization, quick response and attention to detail are required to be successful.  The ideal candidate must have 2+ years of experience in recruitment.  Preference given to those that have experience recruiting physicians.
