The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced PRN Licensed Psychologist to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to render accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Your experience and expertise in performing psychological evaluations will guide continued treatment. This position primarily conducts psychological evaluation services for adults and children. Shift Details: Monday through Friday day shift

The Work:

  • Completes scoring, interpretation, and written reports in a timely manner
  • Provides feedback regarding assessment results to clients
  • Participates as a member of the treatment team, providing outpatient therapy services as needed
  • Screens referred patients and makes appropriate recommendations for person seeking mental health services
  • Conducts psycho, social assessments and formulates diagnosis, disposition, and treatment plans
  • Monitors and evaluates patient’s progress
  • Provides assessments/testing for developmental disorders and autism
  • Provides individual group and family therapy as well as case management services.
  • This position recommends and implements general therapeutic interventions both for individual clients and for overall program development
  • Functions as the therapist for patients and families
  • Position will complete prior authorizations for services and will provide case management as needed for ongoing clients
  • Takes responsibility for own administrative duties, including timely and appropriate documentation in patient medical records

Clinician must be licensed in the State of Missouri as a Psychologist or be provisionally licensed eligible in the State of Missouri

We are seeking Licensed Psychologists with experience performing psychological evaluations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the system and processes of mental health care. We are seeking someone with great communication skills and good report-writing skills, along with the ability to make treatment and educational recommendations. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the treatment of complex variations of adult psychological dysfunction full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses. Therapist will have knowledge of a wide range of evidence based treatments. This position will require the skills necessary to develop communication systems that triage workloads on a daily basis.
