Job Description​

Program Manager Valve Care is accountable for coordinating the day to day operations of the valve program at SLH and SLHS. Provides oversight and direction to the program. Participates in program planning and development with System Leadership and physicians. Ensures compliance with state and national guidelines and standards in the care of valve and cardiac patient population as defined by national consensus and Saint Lukes. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team regarding aspects of care for patients. Plans, develops, implements and evaluates readiness for Valve Center of Excellence certification, including the maintenance of programmatic requirements outlined by Joint Commission. Additional duties include performance improvement, data collection and review, and trending of quality metrics. Serves as a liaison between the program and other facilities, physicians and other providers. Serves as a resource, facilitating staff development and working on special projects.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

2 years

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
