Job Description​

As a registered nurse on our Cardiovascular Recovery Unit, you will provide patient care to patients post Cath and EP Lab procedures as well as other cardiac diagnoses, conditions and treatment plans. This is a fast-paced progressive care unit that specializes in cardiac patient care. You will have the opportunity to overcome daily challenges, provide patient education and be your patient’s advocate to ensure positive patient outcomes.  

This is a team where nurses and physicians collaborate with each other in the delivery of patient care. Nurses on this team help one another, teach one another, and support each other in becoming the best nurses they can be, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and supervision of other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.

We are looking for a nurse who is a team player, able to stay strong under pressure, flexible and enjoys knowledge sharing and learning daily. To be successful, you will need to have a passion for cardiac care and be involved in the patient care plan. This position will require strong assessment and communication skills, and a positive, team-centric approach to patient care.
