Job Description​

Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, KS is hiring for a registered nurse for their Med-Surg Unit. In this role, you will provide care to acute care and skilled nursing patients. Training and certification assistance will be provided to support your success in this role. This is a busy, fast-paced multispecialty team that will allow you to grow your skills in a variety of areas. This position is supported by CNAs, 24 hour ED Providers and House Supervisors on site.  This team uses leading technology, evidence based practice and a collaborative environment to ensure our patients get the best care possible.


This location provides you the community and tight knit team of a rural hospital with the opportunities of a larger health system. This position will allow you to participate in various education and support provided by the Saint Luke’s Health System.

Responsibilities:
•    Utilizing the nursing process. 
•    Performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
•    Coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. 
•    This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
