Job Description​

As a Medical Surgical Nurse on this unit you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, and treatment plans. This nursing position will provide you with variety in your day-to-day and allow you to expand and grow your nursing skills.

This department can be fast-paced and unpredictable at times. This is a diverse team with various skills and backgrounds that believes in knowledge sharing and helping each other provide exceptional patient care. They natural leaders who go above and beyond and are solutions focused in their drive towards continuous improvement.


*This is a Full-Time Position (3 12 hour shifts a week): 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 

Responsibilities:
•    Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
•    Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
•    Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
•    Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
