Due to the continuous success and growth of our Saint Luke’s North Hospital, we have expanded our Medical ICU Unit and looking to add an experienced registered nurse to this team. Our Saint Luke’s North location has great growth in our acuity and Time Critical Diagnosis populations while achieving deficiency free surveys for three consecutive years.
As a Nurse on this ICU Unit you can expect patient ratios to be 1:1 or 2:1 based on the acuity of the patient.
You will provide care to variety of conditions and treatment plans including, but not limited to:
• Post TPA
• Stroke
• STEMI
• Various post procedural care
• Titration of various Drips
• Ventilators
• Bi-Paps
• Proning
• Quick Stabilization
• Chest Tubes
• Code Blue Response
• Various bedside procedures

Responsibilities:
• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
This is a high energy, solution focused and positive team that is lead by engaged leadership who is supportive and will help you grow as a nurse. This team holds each other accountable and believes in knowledge sharing to help each become the best nurse each other can be.

Strong time management, teamwork, communication and multi-tasking skills are important to be successful in this position. Experience as a nurse on a Telemetry, Progressive Care, or ICU unit is preferred, but not required.
