Job Description​

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process in an outpatient oncology infusion center. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, safely handling and administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy agents to patients and providing patient education. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. Has a work commitment that is at least 2 days a week Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm and will be added to a weekend rotation about every 13 weeks and 1 holiday every 2 years.
