Job Description​

As a nurse on the Float Pool for Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza, you will be required to assist on 4 different Critical Care units based at our Kansas City, MO location. These units include Cardiac, Cardiovascular, Medical-Surgical Trauma, and Neuro Science ICU.

This position will provide you a lot of variety in your work, opportunity to expand your nursing skills through caring for various patients with different conditions and treatment plans, and allow you to build multiple professional relationships across the Saint Luke’s Hospital location.

Responsibilities:

  • Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
  • Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
  • Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
  • Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
  • Central Staffing Office Tier 1 will work at one entity, Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza
