Within the structure of the CVOR the RN I is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to care for cardiovascular surgical patients within the operating room setting in collaboration with the multi disciplinary team. Is responsible for delegation patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Shares in department on call responsibilities.
