Job Description​

The Reimbursement Manager is responsible for working through various reimbursement projects and initiatives that support the entire Saint Luke’s Health System.  This position will work with the Director and Entity CFOs to support the various organizations needs in the realm of reimbursement accounting. Ensure the appropriate amount of Medicare, Medicaid and CHAMPUS reimbursement is received for the Health System.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication with Director of Government Reimbursement on status of projects
  • Third party reserve calculations including monthly trends & annual cost report impact
  • Third party reserve review with Corporate Finance
  • DRG transfer review & follow up with billing department on potential revised billing
  • Preparation of State Medicaid filings for FRA assessment & annual DSH survey
  • Preparation of the Worksheet S-10 underlying support
  • Preparation of 990 calculations & community benefit information
  • Preparation of Children Outlier submissions to the state & review of audited calculations
  • Pharmacy intern & resident counts, preparation of annual IRIS report
  • Preparation & review of annual passthrough reimbursement programs
  • Provide Medicare & Medicaid rate adjustments to revenue cycle
  • Oversee Medicare & Medicaid cost report audits & communication with auditors
  • Preparation of annual rating agency information to Corporate Finance
  • Assist with Medicare, Medicaid contractual & third party reserve budget
  • Assist with special projects as indicated by the director
  • Supervise reimbursement analyst positions and review work
