The Opportunity
Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. This nursing team provides care to post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-paced environment with various acuity levels.
This Registered Nurse position on this PCU Unit will allow you to build relationships with your patients in a positive environment led by supportive and engaging leadership that believes in developing a strength drive career path. This is a great opportunity to master your nursing skills while learning new skills and growing your career.
This Intermediate Unit will allow you to gain RN experience with:
Fast Paced Environment
Variety in acuity levels, conditions and treatments
ICU Stabilization
Work with patients across all specialties
High Patient Turn Over
Post-Surgical and Medical Patients
Shift Details: 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
The Work:
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
