RN Med Surg/Intermediate Float Pool - Full Time - Day Shift
Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for a Float Pool Nurse for their Medical Surgical and Intermediate Units. This role provides care to patients with various medical conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels.
The Work:
Our float pool is a growing department working to provide stronger support to our teams, improve patient outcomes, and provide an exceptional patient experience for patients and their loved ones. This is a challenging opportunity where you can learn something new daily and be encouraged to step out of your comfort zone to grow your skills and nursing career.
This team is seeking nursing professionals who are adaptable, flexible, hard-working, and are inspired by continuous learning. To be successful in this position, you will need to possess strong time management and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
