Job Description​

As a nurse on this neuro unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team who is ranked 6th in the country for stroke patient outcomes. You will provide care to patients recovering from stroke and spine procedures. Nurses on this team will perform neuro assessments while providing empathetic patient centered care. This team provides an innovative approach to patient care and works with leading technology and procedures.

This is a positive, team oriented, patient centric team that is passionate about exceptional patient outcomes. They are an empathetic and compassionate group that goes above and beyond for each other, the patients, and the patients’ loved ones. We are looking for a nurse who has confidence in their skills, team driven, patient centered, and enjoys building relationships with their peers and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be held accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
  • Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
  • Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
