Job Description​

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri has an opportunity for a Nutrition Services Supervisor. This position is responsible for the successful daily operation of the NS department. Manages staff to achieve stated objectives in revenue expenses employee retention guest service food quality cleanliness and sanitation. Has input in budgets business plans and strategic initiatives. Is involved with interviewing hiring training motivating and the performance management of employees. Works with staff to meet food safety and sanitation standards. Ensures timely service. Involved with ordering and receiving of items while maintaining a cost effective inventory. Completes month end procedures and statistical reports. Maintains the department schedule. Helps develop menus. Responsible for proper planning coordination delivery and billing of catered activities. May fill in for staff as needed. Handles customer complaints. Is professional and administers policies in a prompt fair and consistent manner. Educates team and adheres to policies procedures standards and regulations.
