Job Description​

As the Supervisor, Employee Health you will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the SLHS Employee Health metropolitan clinic location. In addition, you will also provide first line care for new hires and existing employees. We are seeking a strategic leader who has a passion for mentoring and developing others, a subject matter expert, and a forward thinking professional who possess strong communication skills. This position will collaborate with various teams across the system. To be successful, you will need to be an innovator who is not afraid to try something new and be creative in their approach. You will need to bring a team together to implement and create new ideas, promote collaboration and a customer focused culture to meet the needs of our internal clients.
 

Responsibilities:
•    Provides counseling and evaluation of the Employee Health staff.
•    Does scheduling, assignments, and task delegation within the Employee Health Nursing team.  
•    Provides front line occupational health care for SLHS employees and new hire candidates.
•    Organizes staff orientation and provides development opportunities.  
•    Ensures consistency with Employee Health policies, procedures and practices for the metro Employee Health clinic.  
•    Assists the Director with administrative responsibilities and special projects.  
•    Creates and maintains data tracking and reporting, and is an engaged participant in strategic planning for Employee Health along with the Director.  
•    Serves as a clinical resource and point person for Employee Health within the team and organization.

Registered Nurse 
Kansas and Missouri Nursing License.
BLS

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
