The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, KS is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for ongoing daily operations of Patient Access. The Supervisor ensures that quality standards are continually achieved by the department by training, coaching, evaluating, hiring and motivating all staff, ensuring that adequate staffing is available at all times to operate the department, assists in establishing and monitoring quality assurance programs.

3 years' experience with hospital or physician revenue cycle experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, claims, follow up, denials, payment variance, payment posting, or customer service and experience in team leadership roles may be substituted in lieu of Associate's Degree.

The Work:

• Timecard approval

• Scheduling staff

• On-call

• Training staff

• Interview and orientate staff

• Staff quality audits

• Assist with Staff meetings

• PMP reviews 

• Deposits

• Work queue management 

• Critical conversations/discipline discussions with Staff

• Coaching

• Coverage of open shifts
