We are hiring a Surgical Tech for our Tier III Float Pool. This is a full time day shift position that will float between all 4 main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas. Hours of shift may vary between 8, 10 or 12 hours based on organizational needs. Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance.
The Surgical Technician provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the RN. The Surgical Technician assists in the patient care, anticipating patient family eds in a proactive fashion. The Surgical Technician individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs. The Surgical Technician collaborates with other healthcare employees to enhance the provision of patient care. The Surgical Technician assumes a multi-skilled role, performing clinical and surgical functions that serve as an integral member of the primary patient care team
