Responsible for assuring the receipt of high quality, cost efficient medical outcomes for those enrollees identified as having the need for inpatient and or outpatient preauthorization through utilization review. This position includes monitoring patient charts and utilization of health care services. Collaborates and communicates with the Care Coordinators, Social Workers and appropriate multidisciplinary team members to ensure appropriate services and statuses.
Requirements include a Kansas and Missouri Nursing License. Prefer Case Management or Utilization Review experience and a strong medical surgical background.
