Job Description​

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a full time day shift OB Tech for our Plaza Labor & Delivery Team.

The Work:

• Assists in OR with labor and delivery surgical procedures including c-sections, hysterectomies, and other procedures 
• Attends vaginal deliveries to assist provider and nursing staff 
• Prepares and processes instruments for transport to Sterile Processing Department
• Prepares surgical suite for each case 
• Responsible for stocking and ordering supplies for unit 
• Responsible for stocking and preparing birthing rooms for deliveries
• Prior surgical tech or OB tech experience strongly preferred
• Completion of a surgical tech program and certification strongly preferred

To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, and detail oriented. We are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and who can multi-task successfully. You will need to work well in a team setting. We are looking for someone who has a specialized skill set with OB and surgical experience preferred.  ​
