The Surgical Specialties Division at Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City seeks BC/BE applicants with 3-5 years of experience for a position as a colorectal surgeon. The surgeon’s clinical practice will be primarily based at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.  


About the position

•    The ideal candidate will joining an established colorectal and surgical practice and be part of a collaborative and growing team
•    Program is actively in the process of becoming a National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) and would be the only program in the region to have that distinction, demonstrating our compliance and commitment to providing high-quality rectal cancer care 
•    Future option to invest in our ambulatory surgery centers
•    Elective general surgery cases are not a requirement; dedicated colonoscopy time approximately a half day a week
•    Saint Luke’s Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School; opportunity for academic appointment through UMKC, commensurate with level of experience
•    Eligible candidates must have completed a general surgery residency training program & an accredited colorectal surgery fellowship; Must have 3-5 years of experience
