The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for PRN positions in our 57-bed skilled nursing and rehab unit.  We offer superior pay rates, interesting work, and a variety of flexible assignments. We are centrally located between Westport and the Plaza.

The Work:

Our LPN's provide direct patient care and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by CNA's.  Specific duties include:

• Providing professional nursing services and medication to patients. Ensuring patients receive services in accordance with their care plan.
• Overseeing the activity of assigned nursing assistants.
• Assisting with new admissions and discharges.
• Consulting with patients, family members, and physicians in planning the patient’s care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Visiting patients to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Notifying the patient’s attending physician and next-of-kin when there is a change in condition.
• Reporting problem areas to the RN Supervisor or Clinical Director.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

A successful candidate for this position will be licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri.

Shift Details:  This is a PRN position working 12-hour shifts.  Other positions, including those with flexible hours, may be available.
