Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Residential Living Center. This Part-Time positon has the potential to move to Full-Time. This position provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. You will be responsible for responsible for patient flow and coordination of patient care.

Shift Details: 

• Part-Time - 24 hours per week
• Day Shift

The Work: 

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN. 
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks. 
• Coordinates the care of patients and consults other disciplines of the health care team as indicated
• Adheres to all nursing policies and standards and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes  
• Facilitates patient care, anticipates patient care needs, individualizes patient care and adjusts or modifies the nursing plan of care as appropriate  
• Supports patient safety and patient satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members.
