Job Description

Saint Luke’s Health System Nursing Assistant Training Program is now accepting applications for its Non-Certified Nursing Assistant positions. The six-week program is part of a blended approach to learning, which contains didactic training, eLearnings, simulation and clinical experience. Requirement to work full time hours during the first 6 weeks.

Weeks one and two will be in-person classroom-based training. Weeks three and four will consist of clinical time spent at a SLHS hospital on designated units with a clinical instructor. Weeks five and six will be spent on their home unit, finalizing competencies and orientation with a success coach.

After training, nursing assistants will work either Day Shift Hours 6:45 AM - 7:45 PM or Night Shift Hours 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. There is also weekend and holiday requirements.
