COVID-19 tests are hard to come by around Kansas City, and lots of people are trying to find them.

But even if you get your hands on an at home test, when should you take it? The timing of when you take your at-home test or when you schedule your test can make a big difference for how reliable the results are.

The Kansas City Star talked to Ginny Boos, PhD, Director of Infection Prevention at Saint Luke’s Health System, to understand how to best time a test.
